  How to request the PIO of OIC to obtain information online  
What is Public Information Officer ?
Public Information Officer in short, PIO is a person who provides information to the information seeker on behalf of the public authority.
How to request the PIO of OIC to obtain information online
  In case a person wants information under Section 6(1) of the RTI Act, he/she may directly request to the Public Information Officer (PIO) of Orissa State Information Commission online in Form A to obtain information. To request online in Form A to the PIO the information seeker has to undergo the following procedures:
 
1. Log into Orissa Information Commission website www.orissasoochanacommission.nic.in .
2. On the home page click on “Click here to submit request to PIO/FAA of Orissa Information Commission, as by RTI Act 2005 of Commission” link or Click on “Click here to go to e-gateway home page”.
3. If he/she clicks “Click here to submit request to PIO/FAA of Orissa Information Commission, as by RTI Act 2005 of Commission”, this will directly go to submission of request to the PIO of OIC page.
4. If he/she clicks “Click here to go to e-gateway home page” link it will go to e-gateway page. On this page click the 'If you want to request the Public Information Officer of OIC for Information or to submit First Appeal to the First Appellate Authority of OIC please click here' link.
5. The page will be displayed for requesting PIO of OIC for information.
6. Click on 'Request here to PIO of OIC for Information' link.
7. Fill up the fields as given in the form.
8. Click on ‘Save Application Form A’.
9. The applicant receives the verification form where all the data are shown.
10. Here the applicant gets two options (a) Edit (b) Continue
11. If the applicant selects edit, he/she can edit the information in the form. Then click again the ‘Save the Application Form A’ button.
12. If he selects continue, he/she gets the Appellant Particular form before proceeding for payment for further transaction.
13. Fill up the detail information.
14. After giving all the information, the applicant has to select the mode of payment. He/she can either pay through credit card/debit cum ATM Card or through challan .
15. For payment through Credit Card/Debit-cum ATM card:
  (a) Click ‘Credit Cards’/‘Debit cum ATM Card’ button, then click ‘Proceed For Payment’.
16. The complainant receives a ‘Transaction Information’ sheet showing all the details for paying online and click on ‘Pay’ button.
17. It will directly go to ‘HDFC Payment Gateway’ page.
18. Give the credit card/debit-cum ATM card details, then click on ‘Submit’.
19. ‘Billing Information’ Screen is displayed and click ‘Pay’.
20. The applicant receives the system generated Receipt No. on the Screen
21. The complainant prints the copy of the Receipt No. for future reference.
22. For Payment through Challan:
  (a)Click on ‘Payment through Challan’, then ‘Proceed For Payment’.
23. The complainant receives a ‘Transaction Information’ sheet showing all the details for paying online and has to click on ‘Pay’ button.
24. The ‘Challan Payment Process’ screen is displayed.
25. The applicant has to give the Challan no. and has to upload/attach the scan copy of Challan.
26. Click on ‘Submit’ button.
27. The complainant receives the system generated Online Temp. Registration number on the Screen
28. The complainant prints the copy of the Online  Receipt for future reference.
29. The complainant uses the Online Temp. Registration number to check the status of the appeal in future.
