(a) 2 posts of SIC were considered necessary for smooth and effective functioning of the State Commission. Out of which only one post of SIC was sanctioned. The particulars of facilities available to citizens for obtaining information, including the working hours of
a library or reading room, if maintained for public use;
The State Commission has engaged a Legal Facilitator to help the citizens fill up forms, as necessary and
clarify their doubts. It has a small library. Officers of the State Commission are also available on phone
and personally from 10.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. (Monday to Saturday except Holidays).Information can also
be obtained on the toll-free telephone Helpline 1800-3456777 and
from the website www.orissasoochanacommission.nic.in
