How to pay against cost for providing information online

To get information is just a click away. Orissa State Information Commission has started a new initiative for the citizen, who wants to get information from the Commission itself. This is the platform where one can obtain information by paying online. This system is called as e-payment for information under ‘OIC e-gateway’. To enter into ‘pay against cost for providing information, here are the procedures:

1.	Log on to www.orissasoochnacommission.nic.in website. Orissa Information Commission Website is displayed.
2.	On the home page click on the “Click here to pay OIC against the cost for providing information “link.
3.	The ‘Payment for Information’ screen is displayed.
4.	Here the applicant has to give the Case registration No. Click on ‘Go’ button.
5.	Fill up the fields as given in the form.
6.	Here the Appellant gets two options: ‘Proceed for Payment’ and ‘Reset’ button. If the appellant selects, ‘Reset’ he/she can reset the data already filled by him.
7.	If he/she selects ‘Proceed for Payment’, ‘Appellant Particulars’ screen gets displayed.
8.	After giving all the information, Click ‘Credit Card’/'Debit cum ATM card' button, then click ‘Proceed For Payment’.
9.	The complainant receives a ‘Transaction Information’ sheet showing all the details for paying online. Click on ‘Pay’ button.
10.	It will directly go to ‘HDFC Payment Gateway’ page.
11.	Give the credit card/debit cum ATM card details, then click on ‘Submit’.
12.	‘Billing Information’ Screen is displayed. Click on ‘Pay’ button.
13.	The complainant receives the system generated Online Temp. Registration number on the Screen.
14.	The complainant prints the copy of the Online Receipt for future reference. This registration no. may be used by the Appellant to check his/her appeal status in future.
